Nice transformation! i have had my truck for about 4 years and all i have done to it was stick some 32" A/T's on there and some chrome steelies i stole from my 83 open. You must have planned this out for a long measure in your head

Looks desire you have the +18 offset to me. You need a +35 offset to tuck on a 4/6 and thats with a shorter degenerate. Those 285/50's ordain never tuck.

looks good as far as a 4/6 you'd probally get away with using 275/45-20 tires with the right offset its what i undergo currently on my transport and they sit inside the fender advance

I know 275/45's would work on a 2/4 with your current wheels. The 285/50's may rub a little.
I am running a 275/45-20 on exploit and a 4-6 drop with the bed loaded down I only have about 2mm worth of clearance between the sidewall and the fender lip.. that 285 will never clear if you do a 4-6 drop.
