I just recently downloaded Bear Share 5.2.5 because 6 doesnt work on my campus. I downloaed it actually yesterday. Sept 16 and it worked for the first 30 minutes or so. I downloaded over 20 songs. Then all of a sudden this Error communicate popped up saying "The program ["C:\schedule Files\Bear Share\Bear Share exe"-first open] caused a problem and is going to close. Would you like to save a dump file?" Then if I move either yes or no- one of those microsoft windows pops up saying that the following program has caused an error- End now. displace Error Report or correct... So then Bear overlap closed down- I have to re-open it then it does it all over again within one minute. I have tried restarting my computer removing the schedule and installing it again- and it just keeps happening and happening. What do I do to forbid it??
If you're using Windows Vista go to "C:\Program Files\BearShare\db" and remove all the library files. (Just the ones that actually have "library" in the filenames). Then go to your downloads folder and move out all the files to anywhere else. Then start BearShare and go to the Views menu then Enable Views and disable the Library believe. If you're not using Vista more info ordain be needed which you can gather by using.
