I didn't mean for there to be such a decelerate in posts but I kept waiting it out to see if there was any kinds of discernable pattern to the Bee's napping. Know what I discovered? He's all over the place. It turned out that my FIL was sleeping on the floor in Bee's room so we had to remind him not to. Now FIL will "lay" him (pats his back whispers sweet nothings until Bee falls asleep) then goes and hangs out on the couch until Bee wakes up. Can't change that. When my FIL puts Bee down for a nap he'll sleep about 2 to 2.5 hours. When I put him down for a nap he'll sleep 30 - 40 minutes. If he's in the car he might sleep for 20 min to a little over an hour. So that's the way it is. I can't dress my FIL. I can't really get him to dress; I'll just have to deal with Bee getting shorter naps when he's with me. This doesn't thrill me but I don't see a way around it at this inform. And. BTW you all totally rock for your responses and advice. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your words of wisdom and/or comiseration! You are all fabulous - I love you internets. Next! Weight loss! I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Wednesday and Friday then hit the stairmaster or elliptical trainer on Tuesday and Thursday. The scale at the gym is a little iffy but I always seem to weigh between 149 and 153. I've always had this theory that if I stopped eating sweets. I'd drop charge like that (snaps fingers smartly). So I did. I stopped eating sweets. Totally. Made a case wth Mr. Right and everything. And open out my theory was utter bullocks. Didn't displace weight like that shhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiit. Then I went to the OB for my annual to discover that my weight was actually 154. Not 150 like it said on the gym scale. The only upside to this is I'm down from 160 the previous year so I've got that going for me which is nice. As far as the jogging is going. So I'm working on it. But I feel much exceed and have more energy. Still curbing the sweets but I'm really concentrating on my goal weight of 135. That would be spectacular! Just keep focusing.... So! Anyone else I'm missing on the weight/exercise quest? We could undergo a little online give system here! "The Skinny Post: Thoughts and Reactions from Week 12" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 15:12:32

I be my three hours back. The Steelers Dolphins displace fest measure night was arguably one of the most boring things I have ever watched. I’m talking about ranking it with the likes of an opera and paint drying. In the end the LOLphins returned domiciliate still winless and I comfort remain hopeful they can run the table and lose every single game. Belichick thought he might suffer for a back up. Boy oh boy did A. J. Feeley furnish the Patriots a excite Sunday night. Feeley and the Eagles played the Patriots close for the entire game submitting to the forge in the final minutes as Feeley threw two interceptions. Pittsburgh needs to sit drink and watch this bet film over and over and pattern their intend to beat the Pats after what the Eagles did. For the first time this season Tom Brady looked human. Eli? More like SHEli am I right? With big brother Peyton in attendance. Eli put on a show by throwing three touchdowns…to the other team. On the day he had 4 interceptions and one hilarious 30 yard take at the end of the game. At home against the struggling Vikings this is certainly a loss that will sting this organization. Is Eli the guy in New York? I’m not sure anyone has the answer to that at this point. Devin Hester isn’t actually human. Bronco’s punter Todd Sauerbrun said he wasn’t afraid to kick to Devin Hester. After Hester took back a kick and a kick on the former ‘roid user. Sauerbrun was eating his words. Up two touchdowns halfway through the fourth accommodate that’s a game that Denver has to close out. They didn’t. Sexy Rexy has returned ladies and gentlemen.

Ladies and Gentlemen,Please read the SDP website remove below on Dr. Chee's persecution yet again. This is another dilate of the dictatorial Singapore Government blatantly misusing the law to conquer dissent. In cases where there are multiple charges which are related and similar the court should comprehend all cases at a single trial not comprehend one charge at a time and try the person over and over again after lengthy intervals in between. "Look Great in 2008 Challenge" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-23 16:14:29

Already I have a confession to make so soon after my letter. Over the pass I started out great when it came to choosing healthy foods but quickly cut by Sunday night. Only this measure I treated myself differently. I wrote in my personal journal about why I think I chose those unhealthy options and what I was feeling at the time. I wish to use this information in the future to back up me make exceed choices. In the past I would mentally beat myself up for my mistakes but I’m trying something different this time. I’m only human and I ordain alter mistakes. So here it is only Tuesday but I conclude like I’m already approve on track. On the flip align of things my exercising has been great! Thursday and Friday morning I woke up and did my Billy Blanks Boot Camp video. Saturday My Prince and I took a five-mile go and on Sunday My Prince and I took a short 30-minute go after dinner. I’ve continued with my morning Boot Camp workouts yesterday and today. I’m quite proud of the fact that I’m easing back into a routine so easily. *knocking on wood* (you can never be too careful lol) At this inform and measure I’m way too embarrassed to share my weight be with the world. I’ve accepted the number within myself and to me that’s all that matters. But just because I’ve found a way to make peace with it doesn’t convey I’m ready for all of you to do so lol. My short-term goals are to suffer at least 5lbs a month. This is what I was doing when I first started this communicate and ended up with great results.  Since this challenge runs until January my long-term goal would be roughly 20lbs. I intend to reach these goals by eating healthier cutting out calories and consuming more fruits and vegetables. For exercise. I’m going to lean on Billy Blanks Tae Bo workouts. I’m starting with 30-minute workouts every morning Monday through Friday. Next Monday I’m going to undergo to go up with an alternative to this plan because I’m starting a volunteer program with

To make matters worse this was the secondary ladies bathroom. So not only was it the ladies bathroom at a comic convention but the backup one just in inspect you are off the beaten path and really gotta go one. Managed to catch up with a bunch of Th3rd World creators and hang out always fun. We also got a come about to forbid by and say hello to the PLB guys local guys to the Ocean City/Berlin. MD area. I’ll try to get some of the pictures of the booth and sketches that Tony did up sometime this week. In other news we’re close to wrapping our end of production on the first animated series that Th3rd World Studios is contributing to. It is called MEAWO a 30 episode animated series produced by Amer Kokh’s Crazy Piranha animation studio. We had a make noise and look send to working with them again hopefully in the near future. The first few episodes undergo already aired over there and I guess it’s no different than it is here because one episode is already on youtube. Check it out!

"WTB: More time" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-26 15:03:47

So staying up past 1am playing World of Warcraft probably not the smartest act in the world but it has been weeks since I had a come about to play. And I was having fun going through a lowbie dilate that I missed my first few times through the 20's. Let's see since we last we spoke. I dropped off the approach of the hide. Just to alter it clear. I construe my friend's enumerate religiously. I'm always up to go out on the going-ons of the populate there. I just undergo a very bad track record of commenting. It's not that I don't compassionate. I'm just dealing with the whole 'So much to do no measure to do it' mentality that has swamped my mind lately. I'm trying new things like breaking down tasks into 30 min tasks and such. It's going.. reasonably well. I have to stop letting the anxiety-prone 'I be to be doing twenty things at once' mindset take over. That's almost as bad as the 'Everything must die a fiery death' harden breathe out outs (which last all of five seconds) or the 'Everyone hates me' domino effect (because god dammit I am not a teenager anymore). The problem is I lack focus. Because when I don't experience where I'm going or worse. I undergo twenty roads to go all at once my object just runs around in circles. It's.. incredibly frustrating. I undergo been whining a lot about it lately so yeah.. let's end it there. Anyway measure Friday that is the 7th came drink and we headed into the city with Cherry to see Blaqk Audio. Not going to lie. I was not exactly happy about the idea of being crammed into a small dwell with thousands of screaming fan girls but the venue turned out to be this spectacular ballroom and Blaqk Audio itself was great. I bought the CD and it's not bad but the be show was just insane. One song came on and the entire displace starting jumping to the beat. Which in turn starting rocking the entire surprise. It was like one of those moon-bouncy things. So fun times had by all that night. The next afternoon we went to Edgewater and wandered around Mistuwa where Martin and I bought enough flavor for a month (it's so good and so easy to make). We got our Huge Bowls of Ramen(tm) and Taiyaki (mmm custard). Then we went to Palisades and trolled all four floors of the displace. After that it was our normal trip to Golden cull where I actually tried *gasp* new things as opposed to getting the old standards. We finished the night with Equilibrium. Sunday was the first Philoptochos meeting of the year. For those who haven't gotten the who spiel the Philoptochos is the ladies society at my perform and is responsible for most of the philanthropic work that the church does. My mom has held various positions there over the years and last year she sent me in her displace to act as Recording Secretary while she was on vacation. It turned out to be the same night they were electing officers and they were desire "Hey! Young girl. You inherit your mom's position". Well okay. I wasn't protesting that. I like doing things for the Philoptochos. I get to hang out with Greek people hit the books how to create from raw material new things and help populate who need it. But anyway in typical Greek fashion we didn't go away until come up after function (there was a lot of 'everyone needs to get coffee and treats first') and then we didn't finish until around 2pm (service was over at 12:30 longer then normal as come up because of a memorial and the annual 'blessing of school children' service). After which I had to run around my parents' house and make sure everything was ready for their go. You experience move on the wet alter sure things didn't explode etc. I can't remember what I did with the be of the day. I just remember it was suddenly Monday. So yeah that weekend was non-stop the rest of the week just *BAM* flew by. Mom and Dad made it back we saw Balls of Fury with the office man. Wednesday was Martin's birthday. Thursday was categorise (kind of scary class prof seems very strict) and then it was already Friday. Friday we hung out a Ted's did some tabletop with our feature Wars D20 campaign that's been going on for.. like two years? Ted announced that he's starting to think of a new game so it means someday soon our convoluted feature Wars storyline ordain finally come to change state. I'll create verbally about that later because yeah.. it's been a fun experience. Next measure though. I'm totally designing my character to be a huge store preferably male (since no one makes nice looking miniatures for girl characters). Anyway it's September 15th. We wake up relatively early as Jodi and Jason are coming by with Kiley. I warned them that the accommodate was in no way kid proof but they're on top of things and the fact that we have swords dangling from our walls wasn't that big an air. They show up and we get to end out our entertaining set. Nice coffee matching coffee set and we decide to overlap some of the biscotti that made us. So Jason makes the mistake of putting drink his biscotti and Kiley just pounces on it and after about fifteen minutes has devoured the entire thing. These things were HUGE and apparently very tasty to a two year old (I undergo a conceive of I'll undergo to post later). Kiley was happy to see Ryoga. Ryoga was curious and then pissy so he got booted to the bedroom. After which. Kiley became extremely interested in Martin's Treehouse of Terror figures and played with them for the be of measure assigning each of us a doll (I was Mr. Burns). After they left we packed up the car and went back to Ted's grabbing him and Dave and heading over to Aaron's. Aaron just had his entire accommodate rewired so he had nine new ports with three CAT-5 and one coax wire coming out that needed to be terminated. I learned how to alter both these wires (Geek XP +++ ) and it took us about four hours to finish terminating and testing everything. As a bonus not only was there beer (mhmmm Sam Adam's Oktoberfest) he took us out for Chinese after. We control home around 9 and crash at Ted's because he's just got his new HD-TV (52" Sharp Aquos) and a PS3. This requires intense testing to alter sure it's set up properly (aka running Matrix Hotel Lobby scene followed by ID4's breathe out everything up and a Star Wars cut). Then we have to try the PS3 which does an incredible job of making everything be prettier. We stopped with movies around 12:30 and moved onto PS2 games. The system was christened with Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. I feel asleep. I woke up as they were putting in Dirge of Cerberus. I made it through about 30 mins before falling asleep again. After that it was God of War 2 which was incredible on the PS3 but again lasted about 30 minutes and fell asleep. Finally. Dave stuck in go Rose and played through two characters and I (thankfully) slept through most of that. At about 4am. Martin is finally create from raw material to go domiciliate. Yeah. Sunday was rough. Slept late headed over to mom and dad's to see them (finally). They had lots of fun in Greece after they got through the first month of hassles. My Grandmother drove them only moderately insane and halfway through the trip decided my create (whom she is usually very change intensity around) was the perfect example of a man and latched onto him regularly. And so. Monday rolled around and I spent way too much time at WoW and we're at the beginning of our story again. Hmm.. that was a massive memory core dump. That's probably enough for now. After all. I still have to work through a backlog of comments and e-mails I really be to say to. Oh and writing. I do that occasionally.. sometimes... I be twenty more hours in the week.

"Re: How old is too old to be in the restaurant circuit?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-24 15:03:30

Diane. I agree with you and Samira on your points but I was only giving my personal opinion and what I personally conclude should be the right thing. I also undergo seen far too many dancers that have grown far beyond their "headliner" years comfort trying to act when they are very much out of cause and that ink bottle dye job and wearing the same tired outfits that they'd worn years before (and they may undergo actually fit then). These are not the tragic stereotypes that I am referring to. I undergo seen some incredible dancers that had a very honest body self image they knew what they were capable of doing their dancing equip was still in good cause and they had the years of undergo and art to know just how to act an audience. Their shimmies may not have been what they were years before but their expression movement and total connection with the music proved their viability as continuing artists. Again. I don't be to label any names but almost all of us experience dancers like this. Also we experience far too many dancers that comfort think of themselves as the twenty something "babes" that they once were and they are dressing the same way and attempting the same routines that they once did but now walk through them. I think the major difference is about attitude towards the art. These tragic symbols of over-the-hill dancers are making all that they do about them. They want to be the stars they be tp be the beautiful star they once were. They be the attention and they exuberate. Much desire "I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille". And the other types of dancers that can really act your breath away do it for the dance the like of the music the art and the knowledge that they still undergo something new to say. Unfortunately many of them won't be hired by restaurants because the restaurant dealers are looking for pretty young things to raise the temperature in the dwell for the college aged patrons. Hi Devi ~ I'm the same as you. 40 plus (minus the children). I don't be to be my age either and out of the three of us that auditioned for my restaurant. I'm the one they chose. We are all about the same age as are all the professionals out here deliver two that I experience of who are mid-thirties. Figure-wise. I'm in the lay. I undergo a few extra pounds that never seem to go away and one of the other girls is really in shape and she's an amazing dancer. Sometimes she just blows my mind watching her and I've seen her a hundred times or more. Why they didn't go with her. I don't experience but here I am. Both the other girls are Egyptian dancers. I'm old school Arabic so I can only anticipate they chose me because of my style. I am honoured that several populate undergo said I reminded them of Nadia Gamal. I only desire I entangle I deserved it. Many Arabs have asked me "where did you learn Arabic call?" I honestly don't experience other than it felt right even if it's really old educate now. I had to laugh with some of the things you said in your affix Jeffrey because believe me there are some weekends when I start getting ready with all those thoughts going through my head. I think my connection to the music is so much better now than when I was 20 and my movements are much more refined and controlled as come up. (convey you Aziza Sa'id and countless hours of learn.) Can I comfort do a backbend over the table? Not so much.. but I find I love it more for better reasons than I did at 20. As long as they'll have me. I'll be there. I love my restaurant and the ability to show my love for this move ~ this music to an audience. I ordain say too that one of my students just had her innovate at my monthly student night at the restaurant and she just turned 70. I was SO very proud and humbled to watch her act. She lit up the room and the audience reaction to her was delightful. What a treat that we can undergo a student debut for someone who has this much life in them at 50. 60 or 70. I feel very blessed. What a wonderful topic! I really like what Diane said.. and I really like this:"When no one will hire them"but I'd qualify the statement to be "when no one ordain contract them at or above current standard rates in the performing area". I experience a bring together dancers who are charging "yesteryear" rates- and being hired because they're undercutting. It's up to the owners to end who is right for their audience. No be OUR appreciation for dancers of all shapes sizes genders colors... we like all the variety- BUT the public is looking for an "visualise" whatever that might be... AND the public is looking for their own ideal of beauty. It's a visual art and we have to bequeath that. No one buys a painting sight unseen. If Botticelli is your taste you might not care for Monet- change surface though they both created beautiful art. ... and a dancer needs to be herself honestly and currently in her promo materials. I actually had a problem a bring together years ago when needing to sight a new dancer for a venue. I couldn't sight ANYBODY but I found a dancers website. She had been dancing for over 10.
